Food was terrible. I ordered the BBC burger tp go and it tastesd like meatloaf on a bun. They forgot my union ring and I also asked for it medium and it was as dry as can be..won't be back

I got the ribs. They were very good! Service was very good for a really busy night. Try to avoid being seated near the children's play area if you plan on a quiet meal!!

Two stars for location and ambience. TVs everywhere allow you to watch the game at all times even if you are walking to the bathroom (maybe TVs in the bathroom would make it perfect?). Food sucks. The tortilla chips are evidently from a bag and they were hard, clearly old. The mango sauce was a salt pit; a banana as a side would be great to offset the high sodium intake. The burger was dry; hardly any flavor. Something must have not been cooked properly (maybe the bacon?) since 2 hours later I had diarrhea. The chips that came with the burger were way over fried; dry, hard, and too brown.

Had some excellent Carolina Cajun wings tonight! Wings were a good size and nice and crispy...not soggy. The burger on the pretzel bun was awesome and the homemade potato chips were an excellent side.

Normally I utilize Yelp to crush a place or talk about a bad experience. This post will be the complete opposite of that. Great SERVICE because that is key, awesome food, you can tell it was made with care, and to top it all of KILLER beer selection!!!! I will definitely be back and this is a hidden gem in a township of mediocre restaurants.

Had a great time here with my dad! We drove about an hour just for their ranch fries alone-- definitely one of the best uses I've ever seen for french fries! Dad had the Fire and Ice burger and absolutely LOVED it, he said it was a great mix of spicy and cool. I personally had the cheesy potato soup, which had a great taste to it and a nice helping of bacon to boot. Also, we had a half dozen of the garlic parm ranch wings, which were outstanding! Some of the best wings I've ever had, incredibly well seasoned and extra crispy, which I always love. Our server, Carrie, was really friendly and attentive as well. Overall a wonderful experience, totally worth the drive!

JD Burger is awesome. Great draft list. Music selection is good. The only downside is the jukebox. Some people choose some pretty awful songs.

You have to keep an open mind when you come here because the food and service can be a hit or miss, so only go if you are craving for bar food or to have drinks and watch games, and really just expect laid back because unfortunately, there's going to be a chance that you will be waiting for your order or for the server to come around and check on you. I think the worst area is in the corner in the back patio. We sat there once and it seems the server forgot about us. It took about 20 mins to just get our drinks in. It was a saturday and a pirates game night, so good reason. Other times we were there, service wasn't as bad, but I do feel like it's where you're seated, so try to sit at the bar or near the bar or the middle part of the patio closest to the door, so someone is always walking by. I've also seen the manager come around several times to check on diners and one time, he even brought out wings for everyone to try. In the world of sports bars in cranberry, I do rate this one higher because there are things on the drink list and menu that I do like such as their mango wings and garlic parm wings (IMHO, their wings are better than primanti's). Their pizza is pretty good. The sandwiches are ok. My husband likes them. I like the chips that come with the sandwiches. The drink list is extensive, price is on point for a sports bar, they have a good happy hour, and lots of tvs. definitely a good place to watch games. Most of all, the brownie sundae is amazing! The brownie has chocolate chips in it and topped w/ caramel. Drools....

Wow, this place is really good. Best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. The wings are incredible. I was surprised how good the food actually was. It's tucked away behind the main drag but it was crowded, so that shows people didn't just happen upon it. If you looking for good wings don't go to Quaker Steak and Lube next door, try the one's here. You will be so much happier. I had a filet mignon salad. Maybe one of my favorite salads that I have eaten. Great job. It is for loud families and friends. So not a quiet dinner by any means. They took a sports bar and cared about the quality of food. Really nice to see. I will be back, repeatedly.

Our first experience was on a busy Saturday night. Asked if we wanted to sit in bar or dining, bar was really noisy, so we asked for dining area sitting. We were promptly seated in dining area but it went downhill from there. The service was slow, there was a children's play area where many kids were playing unattended, waited a long time for a panni sandwich which arrived untoasted on butter bread, and cheese that wasn't melted. My husband's cheese steak sandwich was very good however. With so many choices in Cranberry, probably won't be going back.

I really didn't like anything about this place. I ordered a salad and there were french fries in it! I didn't like the service. I didn't think the food was really very good. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I think I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Don't think I will return.

Awesome private owned sports themes restaurant and owned by people from my hometown. Beer selection is immaculate, service is fantastic, and due to the fact that the owners are from youngstown like me and my family we managed to hit it off with the owner Shawn who is a great guy to talk to. Food selection by the way is top notch! Their meatball Parmesan sub is awesome. The only thing I would change is since the cranberry sports grille is in a building that was home to 4 different restaurants, I'd like to personally see an extensive remodeling maybe and people who go out to drink there need to be careful because cops run rampant in that area from 9pm til 2am... All in all a fantastic place for beer, great food and there's more than enough tvs to watch your favorite game of any sport. My parents and I go regularly

Not a very good environment. Dead on a Friday night. Spinach & artichoke dip was too mild. Need some menu work

I've been here twice in the past week. The atmosphere is very family friendly. My wife and I really appreciate this play area as it gives us a chance to have some time alone while still keeping an eye on the kids. I really enjoyed the filet mignon salad with the sweet house dressing. The burgers are very good and the fries are fresh and hot. You can't beat the kids' meals for $3.99, including drink. Overall, it's a very good value for the money. The portions are generous and most meals are around $10. The owner will certainly stop by your table to say hi and make sure everything is as you expected.

If you want to have a conversation within the bar area, forget about it. It's so loud that I can't hear myself! The beans & greens are great though.

Most of the food is homemade and very very good. Try the house sour dressing. Great beer selection including a wide-range of seasonal brews. Give this place a try.

Another "sports bar" place with middle of the road food; and middle of the road service. And of course, lots of TV space to create the notion of "activity" and "service" when the reality is a middle of the road, noisy sports bar. Beer choices -- really... we live in a great place for custom beers -- and the tap is just normally uninspired. This is not a composite review. As just another sports bar, it really doesn't have anything unique to bring us back. f8 and be there (but not here again)

I went here for dinner on a Sunday night around 6. I sat in the dining room and I have one word. LOUD. I was expecting noise and chatter because it is a sports bar but this one is particularly noisy. Aside from the noise, I got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. It was good and the fries were good also. My brother got the burger that was on a pretzel bun and that was also good. The food is typical sports bar food. The beer selection looked decent. I will try to come back during football season and see what it's like then.

Large but very basic beer selection. They need to get on board with the craft beer craze. The garlic ranch dressing is...(insert favorite Guy Fieri catch phrase here). Otherwise, it's decent bar food in a nice, but loud atmosphere. Best place in Cranberry to experience a Pens game for sure.

We have eaten here a few times and it has always been pretty good. The menu is generally bar food, which is what Pittsburgh does best. The fish sandwich is very good--large as per Pittsburgh standards--and the bread it was on was very good too. Although I am not sure if it was a Mancini's roll. The Bloody Mary was good, not great. I am a Bloody Mary fan and have a very high bar for excellence. Drinks are priced fairly, but not great. You're paying a little more to have a thousand televisions and a nicer atmosphere. This is a sports bar (duh) and there are TVs everywhere. Easy viewing your game of choice and monitoring a few others as well. The interior is new and nice, but definitely expect a sports bar/TGIFridays setting.

It was a cold day yesterday when I ate here with a group from work but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Awe the name implies this is a sports bar which I found to be appropriately decorated. Plenty of TVs tuned to the right channel. There were five in our party so we were in one of the side rooms and not in the main bar area which was perfect for conversation and story telling that tends to go on. We started with the nachos which was plant for five men and were also very tasty. I had the southwest veggie burger which was tasty. I especially like that is came on rye bread and was dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a southwest sauce. I also had their pirogies as my side. They were delicious! I do love pirogies! The rest of the my party opted for fish, salads and burgers. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. This is a great place that I will eat at again.

Actually surprised this place is still open. With all of the options to grab a bite and a beer, I won't find myself coming back here. The food is edible, that's about it. Nothing at all that would differentiate themselves. The service is, well, sometimes not very good (other times it's bad). Nearly every business in this location (I think there have been 3 or 4 previous) have gone out of business in 5 years or less, and this place has nothing special to make me think that they will be open much beyond that.

For starters, reserved a room, they gave it to someone else. Service was poor. May have saw the waitress 2 or 3 times. Entirely over priced, you can get the same meal we got at eat n' park for half the price... With better service. So not waste your time going here. Chances are your gonna have to wait in line anywhere, might as well wait in line somewhere else. After thought, iced tea tastes instant. Deep fryer oil needs changed.

I haven't eaten here so let's start there. Been here a couple times, had some beer and some conversation, looked at the menu but didn't order. Nothing looked good to me. Odd, I know, since I love bar food. Maybe I'm missing something but when I looked at the plates of food that others around me were eating, it didn't excite me. Not that I need to be excited to eat! I'll just let others attest to the food quality. The beer selection wasn't up to my expectations. OK, they say they have 20 draft beers on tap. But when I have to struggle and end up compromising on a draft beer choice, something is amiss. I LOVE IPA's. It's easy - put some IPA's up there. Get rid of the lite beers or reduce the selection there. Please! The inside is eerily similar to the failed Uno Pizza that occupied this space before. And that was similar to the prior establishment that also failed. This place feels like it has an expiration date already established. Adding a few TV's to the wall wasn't enough to make it that much different than Uno's and certainly doesn't reach the sports bar threshhold. OK, it was packed for March Madness. The real test will be those long months without sporting events when they have to rely on something other than sports to bring people in. And then the challenge of bringing them back.

The Sports Grille at Cranberry has become a favorite hangout of my BF. Sometimes, I tag along. It's a big change from the restaurant that was located here previously. The owner is very involved in the operation. Sean opened The Sports Grille in Youngstown, OH in 2002. After 10 years and loosing their building lease, they brought the Sports Grille to Cranberry. They strive to keep a family friendly, come as you are type of environment, keeping a kid's play area. To me, it's more of a bar type of place then a restaurant. They are sure to support local sports and athletes. They want it to be a gathering place for all local athletes. They even encourage them to bring in their memorabilia to display. They have at least 20 or 30 Hi-Def LED flat screens and have NFL Sunday Ticket, the Big Ten Network, etc. As for food, they have burgers, pizza, wings, paninis, and a few different entrees. They say their number 1 seller is bacon ranch fries. I say YAY for these fries. They are a huge pile of fries, melted cheese, tons of bacon crumbles & homemade garlic ranch dressing. These things are delicious! We have had the Dick Mango nachos, way different than your typical nachos. Every time we have visited, they have been fairly busy. I'm sure they will be around for a very long time.

I stopped by here for lunch with a couple of coworkers today. We arrived at shortly after 12 and were immediately greeted and asked whether we wanted indoor or outdoor seating. Another coworker wanted to sit outside and we were taken out to a nice outdoor seating area where we sat at a high top table under some permanent shade. There were other regular tables too that had umbrellas that were covering half of them. Finally there was a wooden area in one corner which our waitress explained to us was for live music that happened every weekend. As we were waiting for our food a person sitting at a nearby lit up a cigarette which I found to be interesting. Granted we were outside but I wasn't a big fan of having smoke blowing at me while I was eating. While looking at the lunch menu I was surprised to see the prices on most of the sandwiches as they were a couple of dollars higher than I am used to paying. Even so I decided to go with the the hot bird which was described as Buffalo grilled chicken, Pregi-Peppers (thinly slice banana peppers), provolone and LTOP. All of the sandwiches come with pubchips and it costs extra if you want to substitute in something like fries. My sandwich and fries came out to me and looked pretty interesting as it had a golf tee holding it together which was a nice touch for a sports bar. However the first thing that I noticed was that my chicken was not what I would call buffalo grilled chicken. Yes it had some cayenne based hot sauce on it but that was clearly added after the chicken had been cooked and put on the burger bun. The sandwich actually ended up tasting pretty decent and my favorite part of it was the taste of the pregi-peppers. My chicken was a bit of another story as half of it was moist and juicy which the other half was stiff and tasted like it had been refrigerated and not properly reheated. The fries that I paid extra for as a substitution with my chicken ended up being quite good and tasted like they were fresh cut. I also appreciated that they had some malt vinegar on the table which I sometimes enjoy on my fries. The bottom line for me is that I can't see myself stopping back here again for lunch in the future. The quality of food just wasn't that great for what I paid for it. However they did seem to have some pretty good happy hour specials and so I might stop back for that without ordering any food.

I was there with a large group, which is always a challenge. Food was quite good, and service was also friendly and good. I would recommend it, especially if one of the main reasons to attend is to watch sports events. A pretty good time, lots of screens and easy to see them.

Not a good first impression. Food was ok at best. Sent back side of veggies (bland and I think frozen). Daughter had a hair in salad. Manager and server were nice. Took salad off bill and gave a free appetizer card for future visit. Gave away card to another couple who just got there. Won't go back.

This is the best sports bar in Cranberry hands down, way better than buffalo wild wings, primanties, and quaker...awesome service, food, and the best owner around!! The atmosphere is perfect with a tv everywhere you look...best for sports and fun and they have a dj a few times per week which makes it a cool spot to party. Highly recommend everything on menu but the pretzel bites are my favorite starter.

Another great meal. Burger & chips! Tony is always on top of the drinks and the band tonight is great!

Eh. This place was just OK. Outside the freaky-good ranch dressing, I have a sneaking suspicion that The Sports Grille at Cranberry is just another passerby establishment in the revolving door of mediocre restaurants that have occupied this space over the years. The server was good - I definitely need to comment on that. The bar was very busy and she still managed to be a consistent presence at our high-top table. The beer selection was also not bad but only domestic beers were included in the happy hour. Lame. It was also nice that a manger stopped by to drop off one of our beers when our server was busy. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it came with processed, jar salsa ...and the freaky-good ranch. Nothing much to say besides that. I did notice on the way to the bathroom that they had a pretty sweet set-up for diners with kids. It looked like there was a play area connected to the side dinging room. Good idea. Once in the bathroom though I noticed that the fixtures were uncharacteristically chintzy. I don't normally notice these things - they were just that chintzy. Like the contractor grade faucets you would see in a gas station bathroom. Weird choice. My recommendation if you find yourself at The Sports Grille at Cranberry - order the ranch.

From out of town and was looking for a sports grill type place. I sat at the bar and the waitress was extremely unfriendly. I have to give the place 4 stars tho cause the cheeseburger was amazing. Tasted like it came off the back yard grill which is hard to find. Am also a big fan of the chips and dip they serve with it.

Really hard to decide between 2 stars and 3. Two and a half would be better. Last night expereince was so-so. I got buffafo wings with the hot sauce and o-rings, the wife got the philly cheesesteak. She said the sandwich was good, and she enjoyed the homemade fries with the sourcream onion (?) dipping sauce. My wings weren't hot at all, I'm sure they just poured Frank's on top of them. (Update - went back with a customer for lunch. The flaming hot wings WERE HOT!! That's more like it!!) The o-rings were decent but nothing outstanding. And I certainly didn't like the dipping sauce provided with them. I couldn't make out what it was supposed to be, so I just doused them with ketchup. On an earlier visit, I had pretty good 'burger that had a good, meaty floavor. Much better than Five Guys. What jaundiced this last visit was the service. We were kind of ignored by our waitress. I was very tired from some fast paced traveling of the previous few days, and was ready to get home and go to bed. Wife and I asked the waitress for a doggy bag which was promptly brought to us. But then we waited forever to get the check!! Isn't asking for a doggy bag a clue that you're ready to go? Or do we have to spell out everything to this young generation these days? And that was just typical of the entire experience. In fact, it wasn't even our waitress that closed us out!! Another one, maybe an asst manager, noticed my credit card out and offered to take it up for payment. I never saw our waitress again until we were walking out and she picked up the receipt to check out her tip. Sorry, honey. I normally leave 20%, you were lucky to get 15%.

Good time at the Sports Grille. It was packed but bartenders were good. New restaurant so I understand food may take a little extra time. No worries - great place to hang out.
